KEMA provides approach to NERC Reliability Standards compliance and cyber security

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission mandated all bulk electric system users, owners, and operators to comply with the North American Electric Reliability Corporation's (NERC) Reliability Standards in 2007. Since then, the energy industry has been earnestly implementing the Critical Infrastructure Protection NERC Cyber Security Standards. Compliance has been a challenge, however. Developing a structured approach can help the energy industry meet these standards.
