A so-called meter code is issued for residential kWh-meters whose quality is monitored via the "kWh-meterpool" and heat meters whose quality is monitored via the "heat-meterpool". The supplier of the meters requests this meter code from KEMA. The meter code is included in the meter register of the participants in the pools and is necessary for determining the meter readings and the control results as part of the "kWh-meterpool"- and heat-meterpool process.
